Steven Lavell Baker was born in Chicago but he moved St. Paul, Minnesota when he was 12. He attended St. Paul Como Park high school. While in high school he played both varsity football and basketball.
He has a large family he has six brothers and one sister.
He has decided to play college basketball. Steven wants to take his basketball career to a higher level. He has always been involved in sports and that is what he wants to do in life.
He played basketball at Southeastern Community College during the 2009-2010 basketball season.
