Fundamentally Sound Athletics took on Information Investors Group in a basketball contest. The game got off to a quick start as both teams traded baskets in the opening minutes.
Rodney Williams for Fundamentally Sound Athletics came through with some nice two handed slam dunks in the first quarter.
He wouldn't be out done as Joe Coleman who went up against him and is a Gopher teammate had a few nice slam dunks himself.
At the end of the first quarter the score was Information Investors 30 and Fundamentally Sound Athletics 29.
The score went back and forth for a good portion of the first half. Neither team was able to go on a run in the first half.
Both teams were able to use the shot clock to their advantage as they were able to take time off the clock and get easy shots.
At halftime the score was Information Investors Group 63 and Fundamentally Sound Athletics 54.
Fundamentally Sound Athletics went on a run to open the third quarter. They came out with a lot of energy.
Information Investors Group didn't back down. They kept on pounding the ball inside and were also able to hit shots from all over the court.
At the end of the third quarter the score was Information Investors Group 89 and Fundamentally Sound Athletics 78.
Information Investors Group went on a run to open up the fourth quarter. They were able to keep hitting shots.
Fundamentally Sound Athletics also went on a shooting spree late in the contest.
Rodney Williams came through with some nice slam dunks throughout the game. He was able to keep his team in the game with making shots.
Information Investors Group came away with the 129-115 victory over Fundamentally Sound Athletics.
