The University of St. Thomas is a Division III football school. They are currently part of the MIAC Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. They have dominated the conference and they have been evicted from the conference because of being too good.
After the 2018 season St. Thomas was evicted by the MIAC because of their success.
According to multiple reports St. Thomas has been invited to the Summit League Conference which is a Division I league.
If approved St. Thomas would have two more seasons in the MIAC then move to the Summit League.
