Jack Zahr, athletic director at St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights, passed away on Tuesday Sept 10. at a hospice facility in St. Joe's Hospital in St. Paul.
Zahr had worked at St. Thomas Academy for over 30 years, with 26 of them as the head athletic director.
Zahr will be replaced by Mike Sjoberg, who is also the head boys basketball coach.
