St. Cloud Tech and Lakeville North tangled in a boys’ basketball game.
The score went back and forth early.
Lakeville North looked to score baskets in transition. They were able to make layups off turnovers.
St. Cloud Tech played a zone defense for most of the first half. That made Lakeville North shoot deep three-point shots.
Lakeville North’s Owen Blascziek came up with mid-range jump shots and layups.
St. Cloud Tech went into a scoring drought in the first half. They had trouble scoring. Even though they struggled shooting the ball they kept shooting.
At halftime, the score was Lakeville North 39, St. Cloud Tech 19.
As the second half got underway Lakeville North continued to push the ball down the floor and come up with jump shots and layups.
St. Cloud Tech struggled to shoot the ball in the second half. Even though they struggled they still shot the ball.
Lakeville North stepped up and knocked down shots late in the game.
Lakeville North came away with the 71-42 victory over St. Cloud Tech.
The leading scorers for Lakeville North were Tyler Wahl with 19 points and Cole Anderson with 16 points.
The leading scorer for St. Cloud Tech was Trent Meyer with 17 points.
