PETTERS GROUP VS ERROL CARLSTROM PLAYAZ

The Petters Group is off to a fast start against the Errol Carlstrom Playaz. Gopher’s Damian Johnson and Devron Bostic are leading the way playing for Petters and are doing very well. Both teams have played aggressively and are trading baskets here in the first-quarter.

Isaac Rosefelt of the Playaz is playing well and has made some nice shots around the basket. Devron Bostic continues his solid play and he has shown some great moves and a nice shot.

Both teams are making a great effort and at the end of the first half the score is tied at 39.

As the second half gets under way the teams have come out of the gate and are playing up tempo basketball and like the first-half, they are trading baskets. Devron continues to play very well for Petters and has shown why Tubby Smith and the Gophers recruited him so hard for the upcoming Gopher squad. Devron is a can’t miss player for Tubby.

At the end of the third quarter the score is tied at 63.

The game remains very tight and looks like this one might go down to the wire. Both teams continue to be very competitive. This game truly feels like a playoff game. Both teams have a sense of urgency and obviously neither team wants to lose this elimination game.

The Gophers tandem of Bostic and Johnson are starting to take over the game with some fantastic play. These guys can finish. Devron has been “Mr. Everything” tonight. He has distributed well, shown a very effective shot, blocked a few shots and is playing tough defense as had Damian Johnson.

As this game ends, it’s Petters Group over the Errol Carlstrom Playaz 94-80. Cory Johnson finished with 30 points for the Playaz and Devron Bostic tallied 19 for Petters.

Steven,
Much improvement in the writeup for this game! There are more descriptions and fewer (filler) repetitions. Quality over quantity any time. Have patience. Keep working at painting us a picture!
