ISLE TOOK ON #1 SEBEKA IN A BOYS' BASKETBALL GAME AT THE TARGET CENTER IN DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS

The Target Center in Downtown Minneapolis hosted a boys' basketball contest. Isle came into the
game with a record of 9-8. Sebeka came into the game with record of 15-0 and were ranked #1 in Class
A.
 
Sebeka started the game in a man-to-man defense. They looked to push the ball in transition. Isle called
a timeout with 17:00 left to go in the first half.
 
Sebeka came out of the gate hot, getting an early 16-2 lead with 16:09 left tin the first half.
 
Sebeka used a man-to-man defense. They wanted to apply as much pressure to Isle as they could.
 
Sebeka continued to shoot the ball well throughout the first half. Isle had problems getting the ball up
the court. The defense that Sebeka applied was too much for them to handle.
 
Isle called a timeout with 10:52 left in the first half with the score being Sebeka 20 and Isle 9.
 
Sebeka's Ryan Sharp did a good job of getting the ball down the court. He knew where his teammates
were. Sharp did a good of running the offense for Sebeka.
 
Isle had a hard time of running there offense. They were not able to get the shots that they wanted to
get in the first half.
 
Ryan Sharp continued to shoot the ball well late in the half. He was not afraid to shoot the ball from
any where on the court.
 
At halftime the score was Sebeka 54 and Isle 27.
 
As the second half got underway Isle came out in a 1-2-2 zone. They looked to spread Sebeka out.
 
Sebkea continued to shoot the ball well throughout the second half. Isle didn't give up. They kept
playing hard throughout the game.

Sebeka came away with the 87-60 victory over Isle.

The leading scorers for Sebkea were Ryan Sharp with 29 points, Paul Funk with 18 points and Cody
Palqu with 17 points. The leading scorer for Isle was Wesley Owsalo with 20 points.
