Louis Blue McKelvy was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 25th 1989. He has three
brothers and one sister. He is the youngest of his relatives.

He has played basketball at many different levels. McKelvy started playing basketball in the second
grade at Lincoln Community School.

Competition included names like Jordan Taylor and Marcus Hill whose team they played against
frequently.

In the seventh, eighth, and ninth grade he attended school in St. Louis Park where he played on the B
team.

He played for Paul Hill's NC Heat AAU program on the same team four straight years alongside players by the name of Chris Taylor, Chris Pfeifer, and Noah Dahlman.

Paul Hill is the father of former Ohio State guards PJ Hill and Taylor Hill.

Mckelvy didn't get a chance to play his junior year when he transferred to Cooper. He transferred again

He has had the luxury of being a team manager watching and learning more about the game as his team
played against some of the top teams and players on the east coast as well as country.

His goal if granted the life long dream of playing at the U of M will be to go pro. He plans on pursuing
