MINNEAPOLIS EDISON TOOK ON MINNEAPOLIS SOUTHWEST IN A FOOTBALL GAME

Minneapolis Edison took on Minneapolis Southwest in a high school football game. Southwest kicked off to Edison to begin the game.

Edison got the ball first. Edison looked to keep the ball on the ground as they focused on the running attack. Hassan Robertson was able to pick up a first down for Edison.

Southwest picked up some unadvised penalties midway through the first quarter.

Edison did go to the air on a few downs. They wanted to keep Southwest on their toes. Will Kalber-Taylor intercepted a pass and took it 84 yards to end zone for a touchdown. The extra point attempt was good. With 8:19 left in the first quarter the score was Southwest 7 and Edison 0.

Southwest kicked off after they scored a touchdown. Edison got the ball on the 29 yard line. Edison continued to look to get the ball down the field. They had to punt the ball back to Southwest.

Southwest Dan Champion picked up some big yards as well as a first down late in the quarter.
DeAnthony McKinley scored a touchdown with 2:04 left in the first quarter. The extra point attempt was good. With that touchdown the score was Southwest 14 and Edison 0.

Southwest kicked off to Edison again after the touchdown. Jimmy Roth came up with an interception to give Southwest the ball back. Southwest continued to get the ball into the hands of DeAnthony McKinley. Southwest went long and Al-Jureay found the end zone on a 50 yard touch reception. The extra point attempt was good.

At the end of the first quarter the score was Southwest 21 and Edison 0.

Southwest kicked off to Edison to start the second quarter. Edison was not able to get a first down.

Dantavian Sears scored a touchdown for Southwest on a 55 yard run. The extra point attempt was no good.

With 9:44 left in the second quarter the score was Southwest 27 and Edison 0.

Southwest kicked off to Edison and Edison fumbled the ball. Southwest's Camden Knuckles scored a touchdown with 9:06 left in the second quarter. The extra point attempt was good. The score was Southwest 34 and Edison 0.

Edison got the ball back after the touchdown. They continued to gain yards on the offensive end. Edison was able to get a first down with 7:25 left in the second quarter. Southwest was able to get to Edison's quarterback.

Kevin Terry from Southwest recovered a fumble and scored a touchdown with 3:40 left in the second quarter. The extra point attempt was good.

With 3:40 left in the second quarter the score was Southwest 41 and Edison 0.

Dantavian Sears scored a touchdown with 1:49 left in the second quarter. The extra point was good. With that touchdown the score was Southwest 48 and Edison 0.

Southwest's Jacob Dolezal intercepted a pass and scored a touchdown and the extra point attempt was good.

At halftime the score was Southwest 55 and Edison 0.

Southwest got the ball to start the third quarter. Southwest's Dantavian Sears found the end zone with 9:47 left in third quarter. The extra point was good.

Southwest kicked off to Edison after the touchdown. Hassan Robertson picked up some huge yardage on a nice run for Edison.

Southwest's Camden Kunckles was all over the field. He knew where the holes were in the defense and was able to run through them. D'Tavius Williams was also all over field. D'Tavius Williams scored a touchdown with 3:44 left in the third quarter. The extra point attempt was good.

With 3:44 left in the third quarter the score was Southwest 69 and Edison 0.

Edison looked to get into the end zone late in the third quarter. They threatened to score with 2:47 left in the third quarter. 

Trevor Daily scored a touchdown with 2:30 left the third quarter. The two point conversion was good.

Southwest got the ball back after the touchdown.

At the end of the third quarter the score was Southwest 69 and Edison 8.

Southwest attempted a 43 yard field goal to start the fourth quarter. It was no good.

Southwest got the ball back and they were able to drive the length of the field and get the ball into the red zone.

Southwest's D'Tavius Williams scored a touchdown with 7:00 left in the fourth quarter. The extra point was good. The score was 76-8.

Southwest came away with the 76-8 victory over Edison.
