PARK CENTER TOOK ON OSSEO IN A HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME

Park Center High School traveled to Osseo High School for a football contest. Both teams came into the game with a record 0-1.

Park Center kicked off to Osseo to start the game. Osseo got the ball on the 35-yard line. Osseo looked to the air on the first drive. They wanted to chew up the field on short drives. Osseo's quarterback Darren James (DJ) Herbert was able to use his speed to blow by the Park Center defenders. DJ found Tyler Stromback on the two yard line which set up a touch down by DJ with 9:06 left in the first quarter. The extra point attempt was good.

With 9:06 left in the first quarter the score was Osseo 7 and Park Center 0.

Park Center got the ball back after the Osseo touchdown. Park Center looked to the air on their first possession. They were not able to convert on fourth down so Osseo got the ball back.

Osseo's Tyler Sromback got the ball back in his hands and he looked to get the ball back into the end zone. Tim Searcy scored a touchdown with 6:31 left in the first quarter. The extra point attempt was good.

With 6:33 left in the first quarter the score was Osseo 14 and Park Center 0.

Osseo kicked off to Park Center after the touchdown. Osseo got the ball back on an interception. DJ was so quick with the ball. He did a good job of getting out the way of the defenders. Garett Parry scored a touchdown with 5:04 left in the first quarter. The extra point attempt was no good.

With 5:04 left in the first quarter the score was Osseo 20 and Park Center 0.

Park Center got the ball back after the touchdown. An Osseo player picked off a pass so Osseo got the ball back and they looked to the end zone to score again. They did just that on a short drive by Cal Bloom with 3:06 left in the first quarter. The two point conversion was not good.

With 3:06 left in the first quarter the score was Osseo 26 and Park Center 0.

Park Center got the ball back after the Osseo touchdown. Park Center was not able to convert on fourth down and they turned the ball over to Osseo on downs.

Osseo got the ball back. DJ was able to go hand off the ball to his running backs. DJ also played a little receiver and Ali Kanan was the quarter back.

At the end of the first quarter the score was Osseo 26 and Park Center 0.

Bridge Tulser for Osseo caught a pass for a touchdown with 11:54 left in the second quarter. The two point conversion was good.

With 11:54 left in the second quarter the score was Osseo 34 and Park Center 0.

Osseo kicked off to Park Center after the touchdown. Park Center fumbled the ball and Osseo came up with the ball. On the next play Osseo's DJ Herbert fumbled the ball and Park Center got the ball right back.

Park Center kept the ball on the ground. They were not able to get a first down so they punted the ball back to Osseo.

Osseo continued to pound the ball on the ground. They looked to score again. Will Johnson scored a touchdown with 8:26 left in the scored quarter on a pass from DJ Herbert. The extra point attempt was good. With 8:26 left in the second quarter the score was Osseo 41 and Park Center 0.

Osseo kicked off to Park Center after the touchdown. Park Center was not able to complete their passes that they were trying to make throughout the first half. They didn't get frustrated they kept on fighting throughout. Osseo was able to capitalize on that as they were able to turn turnovers into touchdowns.

Tim Searcy found the end zone for Osseo with 4:33 left in the second quarter for a touchdown. The extra point attempt was good. With 4:33 left in the second quarter the score was Osseo 48 and Park Center 0.

Park Center got the ball back after the Osseo touchdown. Park Center had to punted the ball back to Osseo.

At halftime the score was Osseo 48 and Park Center 0.

Osseo kicked off to Park Center to start the third quarter. Park Center looked to keep the ball on the ground for a majority of the third quarter.

Garrison Gillard scored a touchdown with 1:30 left to go in the third quarter. The extra point attempt was good. With 1:30 left in the third quarter the score was Osseo 55 and Park Center 0.

At the end of the third quarter the score was Osseo 55 and Park Center 0.

In accordance with the Minnesota State High School League rules the clock ran the whole fourth quarter due to the score being more than 35 points. The mercy rule went into affect.

Park Center threatened to score with 7:00 left in the fourth quarter. Park Center was not able to get it into the end zone and they turned it over to Osseo.

Osseo came away with the 55-0 victory over Park Center.
