BOLD TOOK ON CALEDONIA IN THE STATE FOOTBALL SEMIFINAL GAME

BOLD went up against Caledonia in the state semifinals in class AA of the Minnesota State High School League state football championships at the Metrodome in Minneapolis. BOLD came into the game with a record of 11-0 while Caledonia came into the game with the same record.

BOLD kicked off to Caledonia to start. Caledonia was able to move the ball down the field. Both teams looked to get into the grove early.

BOLD got the ball back on a punt and they looked to get the ball down the field.

Caledonia got on the board with 1:28 left in the first quarter. Caledonia's Levi Schmitz caught a 45 yard pass from Alex Varney for a touchdown. Mason Ashbacker's extra point attempt was good.

The score after the first quarter was Caledonia 7 and BOLD 0.

Both teams traded field possessions throughout the second quarter.

BOLD threatened to score late in the second quarter. They did score on a Trent Athmann on an 8 yard pass reception from Tyler Rock. Nick Kubesh's extra point attempt was good.

With 1:58 left in the second quarter the score was tied at 7.

The game was knotted up at 7 at halftime.

BOLD got the ball to start the third quarter. BOLD tried to get a first down but had to punt the ball away and Levi Schmitz recovered the punt and Levi Schmitz came up with the touchdown.

BOLD scored a touchdown with 9:45 left in the third quarter on a Tyler Rock 60 yard run. The extra point attempt was good.

Caledonia fought right back as they found the end-zone again with 6:08 left in the third quarter. Ryan Pitts scored on a one yard gain. The extra point attempt was good.

With 6:08 left in the third quarter the score was Caledonia 20 and BOLD 14.

BOLD was successful on a 41 yard field goal with 1:43 left in the third quarter. The score was Caledonia 20 and BOLD 17.

The score after three quarters of play was Caledonia 20 and BOLD 17.

Caledonia's Alex Varney scored a touchdown with 9:26 left in regulation. The extra point attempt was blocked.

BOLD got the ball back and they were able to get it into the hands of Trevor Nissen who came up with a big run and was able to get a first down.

BOLD came up with a touchdown on a Tyler Rock 5 yard touchdown. The extra point attempt was good.

The final of the game was Caledonia 26 and BOLD 24.
