PARK CENTER WENT UP AGAINST MINNEAPOLIS DELaSALLE IN A FOOTBALL GAME

On Sept. 4 Park Center and Minneapolis DeLaSalle squared off in a football game. DeLaSalle kicked off to start the game.

Park Center got the ball and they looked to keep the ball on the ground on their first series. Park Center punted the ball on 4th-and- 9.

DeLaSalle took over in the 39-yard line. Park Center’s Ty’shonan Brooks intercepted a pass returned it 45 yards for a touchdown. The extra-point attempt was good.

With 9:05 left in the first quarter the score was Park Center 7, DeLaSalle 0.

The ball went into the end zone for a touchback. DeLaSalle took over on their own 20-yard line.

DeLaSalle looked to get the ball into the hands of Sage Booker. The defense had a hard time of slowing Booker down.

DeLaSalle punted the ball on 4th down.

Park Center’s Amani Hooker looked to get the ball into his hands. He came up with some huge plays.

Hooker came up with a 67-yard touchdown run. The extra-point attempt was good.

With 5:35 left in the first quarter the score was Park Center 14, DeLaSalle 0.

DeLaSalle fumbled the ball and Park Center recovered it.

Park Center went to the air as they looked to keep the ball moving down the field. DeLaSalle’s C.J. Criner came up with a huge tackle to slow down the Park Center’s running attack. Park Center punted on 4th-and-15.

Park Center’s Hooker intercepted a pass to give his team the ball back. Park Center punted the ball on 4th-and-long.

DeLaSalle’s Sage Booker came up with a huge catch and turned down the field and came up with a huge run that ran out the clock.

After one quarter of play the score was Park Center 14, DeLaSalle 0.

DeLaSalle was interpreted by Terell Howard. They took over on their own 48-yard line. On the next play DeLaSalle’s Xavier Roberts came up with an interception.  

DeLaSalle’s Sage Booker came up with some huge receptions on the offensive end. On the defensive end Booker was able to make some huge blocks.

Hooker came up with a 100-yard touchdown interception  The extra-point attempt was good.

With 16.6 seconds left in the second quarter the score was Park Center 21, DeLaSalle 0. That was the score at halftime.

Park Center kicked off to start the third quarter. DeLaSalle fumbled the ball and Park Center’s Malcome Lawson came recovered the ball. Park Center didn’t move the ball down the field.

 Park Center fumbled the ball and DeLaSalle took over.  DeLaSalle looked to move the ball down the field.

Hooker intercepted a ball and ran it in for a 65-yard touchdown. The extra-point attempt was no good.

With 5:08 left in the third quarter the score was Park Center 27, DeLaSalle 0.

The ball went back and forth late in the third quarter. Park Center found the end zone on a Brooks 11-yard catch. Park Center attempted a two-point conversion and it work. The score was Park Center 35, DeLaSalle 0.

Park Center kicked off to start the fourth quarter. DeLaSalle fumbled the ball and Park Center recovered it. On the next play Park Center fumbled the ball and DeLaSalle recovered it. Nick Moler scored a touchdown for DeLaSalle on a 3-yard run. The extra-point attempt was good.

With 6:54 left in the fourth quarter the score was Park Center 35, DeLaSalle 7.

Park Center fumbled the ball and DeLaSalle recovered it. DeLaSalle couldn’t move the ball down the field. They turned it over on downs.

Park Center came away with the 35-7 victory over DeLaSalle.
