"I'm a 34-year-old NBA center. I'm
black. And I'm gay," he said in the column.
Collins finished the season with the
Wizards and will become a free agent.
Collins also has a twin brother,
Jarron, who also plays in the NBA.
Collins played for the Minnnesota
Timberwolves during the 2008-’09 season where he appeared in 31
games and started in 22. He averaged 1.8 points and 13.6 minutes per
