According to Brian Stensaas of the Minneapolis Star Tribune former Minnesota Twins player Al Newman has been hired as the head baseball coach at Apple Valley High School.
Newman has past coaching experiences. He coached in the Twins minor league system from 1996-2001. He then coached in the big leagues from 2003-2005.
