He grew up in Duluth Minnesota and started playing basketball in the 7th grade. Cory graduated high school at Duluth East in 2006 and then spent two years at Iowa State University before transferring and using his final years of eligibility at Valparaiso University in Indiana.
In his free time he enjoys watching and playing sports. He says that he is pretty competitive…almost too much sometimes! He likes going out, watching movies, occasional videos games (Zombies – Call of Duty), working out, shooting and listening to music. He also likes to keep his brain active learning new things.

Basketball has been an extremely large part of his life. It has allowed him to meet some amazing people, complete his degree and see the world. He thinks about how fortunate he is to have his job everyday.
Basketball has meant a lot to him. Cory started playing basketball at a young age.
He graduated from Valparaiso University with a B.S.B.A. in Finance and is currently in the final year of completing the MBA program at Valparaiso. He thinks that he is fortunate to attend class remotely through the Internet and will graduate this May with his MBA.
Cory is currently playing professional basketball in Uusikaupunki, Finland. The team website is: www.korihait.fi
This summer Cory is planning on spending a lot of time with my brother in Denver and family back in Duluth. He also likes spending time relaxing on the lake at his parents cabin in Wisconsin.
