MARSHALL WENT UP AGAINST PARK CENTER IN THE CLASS 3A STATE FINALS

Marshall and Park Center squared off in the Class 3A state finals. The score went back and forth early.

Park Center looked to get the ball into the hands of Hannah Schaub and Mikayla Hayes both of whom could make mid-range jump shots and layups.

Both teams did a good job of getting everyone involved in the offense.

Neither team went on a run in the first half. In a close first half the score at halftime was Park Center 27, Marshall 23.

The score continued to go back and forth throughout the second half.

Park Center’s Schaub, Mikayla Hayes, Feyisayo Ayobamidele, Danielle Schaub and McKenna DuBois all came up with mid-range jump shots and layups in the second half.

Park Center’s Hayes came up with layups late in the second half. Her teammates did a good job of getting her the ball in spots where she could shoot it.

Park Center stepped up big late in the second half as they continued to make shots on offense and come up with defensive stops.

Park Center came away with the 52-45 victory over Marshall. With that win Park Center won the Class 3A state title.
