On Sept. 9, Minneapolis Southwest went up against Fridley in a football game. Southwest kicked off to start the game.
Fridley started on their own 46-yard line. Fridley looked to get the ball into the hands of Prince Okolie. Okolie was able to get past the Southwest defense. The defense had a hard time slowing down Okolie on the offensive end. Fridley’s Nate Soto came up with a 29-yard touchdown reception. The extra point attempt was good.
With 10:04 left in the first quarter the score was Fridley 7, Southwest 0.
Southwest took over on their own 34-yard line. Southwest was intercepted by Nate Soto. Fridley took over on their own 34-yard line. Fridley kept the ball on the ground as they looked to make short gains on the run. Fridley punted on 4-and-6.
Southwest took over on their own 46-yard line. Southwest took to the air as they looked move the ball down the field. Southwest turned the ball over on downs.
Fridley took over on their own 32-yard line. Okolie came up with a 49-yard run. Fridley turned the ball over on downs.

Fridley took over on their own 49-yard line. Fridley kept on looking down the field as they looked to make first downs. They were able to move the ball down the field. Fridley was intercepted.

Southwest punted on 4th-and-7. Fridley kept the ball on the ground as they looked to move the ball down the field. Soto kept on coming up with big plays on the offensive end.
Fridley took over on the Southwest 45-yard line. Southwest’s Caadham Deeq came up with a 55- yard touchdown reception. The extra point attempt was not good.
With 10:09 left in the second quarter the score was Fridley 9, Southwest 6.
Fridley kept looking to get the ball into Prince’s hands. Fridley’s quarterback Noah Couwehoven scored on a 1-yard run. The extra point attempt was no good.
With 5:58 left in the second quarter the score was Fridley 15, Southwest 6.
The ball went into the end zone and Southwest took over on their own 20-yard line. Southwest’s Levi Wilson came up with some nice catches to move the chains. Southwest kept on trying to move the ball the field. On 4th-and-4 Southwest went for it and came up short. Southwest turned the ball over on downs.
Fridley took over on the Southwest 49-yard line. Fridley went to the air and were not able to come up with a first down. Fridley punted on 4th-and-10.
Southwest took over on their own 4-yard line. Southwest’s Levi Wilson came up with a 31-yard reception. Southwest was intercepted by Jonathan Arzola. Fridley took over on the Southwest 28-yard line.
Fridley moved the ball down the field as they got into the red zone.

Fridley kicked off to start the third quarter. Southwest fumbled the ball and Fridley took over. Okolie continued to come up with big runs down the middle of the field. Fridley looked to get back into the end zone but the Southwest defense was able to stop the Fridley offense.
Southwest continued to try to run the ball. They were not able to move the ball on offense. On 4th-and-12 Southwest punted the ball.
Fridley took over on their own 30-yard line. They kept on getting the ball to Okolie. Okolie was able to find holes in the Southwest defense. Fridley came up with an 18-yard touchdown reception by Nate Soto. The extra point attempt was good. With 1:37 left in the third quarter the score was Fridley 25, Southwest 6.
Southwest took over on their own 25-yard line.
After three quarters of play the score was Fridley 25, Southwest 6.
Southwest was intercepted by Soto. Fridley took over on the Southwest 18-yard line. Fridley fumbled the ball on their own 14-yard line and Southwest recovered it.
Fridley’s Casey Fisher came up with an interception to give Fridley the ball back. Fridley punted the ball on 4th-and-9.
Southwest took over on their own 31-yard line. Southwest couldn’t move the ball down the field and they punted on 4th-and-11.
Southwest called a timeout with 7:05 left to go in the fourth quarter. The score was Fridley 25, Southwest 6.
Fridley scored a touchdown on a 38-yard reception by Caleb Brandt. The extra point attempt was good.
With 6:47 left in the fourth quarter the score was Fridley 32, Southwest 6.

Southwest turned the ball over on downs.
Fridley took over on their own 38-yard line. Fridley looked to keep the ball on the ground late in the game.
Fridley came away with the 32-6 victory over Southwest.
