In playoff action it was B2X against A & A Millwork. Both of these got off to a quick start. Both of these teams were able to score quick baskets from the get go. Neither team was able to go on a run early in the game. There were 7 ties and 5 lead changes in first quarter.
At the end of the first quarter the score was B2X 23 and A & A Millwork 22.
Mike Kinsella came up with a few nice slam dunks throughout the first half. He played very aggressive on both ends on the court.
B2X went on a run early in the second quarter. A & A Millwork didn’t panic they kept on playing through the run that B2X went on. They didn’t get down on them self’s.
The pace of the game was slow in the first half. The score was half time was B2X 45 and A & A Millwork 42.
As the second half got underway it seemed that the teams came out playing with a lot more intensity. Intensity can carry a team along with in this lead as either team could go on a run at any point of the game.
This game was close throughout. Neither team gave up. They each had to fight for their shots. Throughout the third quarter Rodney Williams played well tonight he didn’t surprise me with his shots that he has done before. But he did turn up the intensity late in the third quarter.
At the end of the third quarter the score was B2X 72 and A&A Millwork 65.
As the fourth quarter got underway so did Rodney Wiliams. He came through with some nice slam dunks that he has been making all year long. He stepped up the pressure on the defensive end.
B2X came up with some plays late in the fourth quarter. They knew that they had the game in the bag. The final score was B2X 104 and A&A Millwork 85.
