BRETT FARVE TO STAY RETIRED

According to many different media outlets Quarterback Brett Farve says he is going to stay retired. He retired from the New York Jets last season. At the end of the season last year he had surgery on his shoulder.

Brett Farve has retired a few times and then has changed his mind and came back to play. After his last retirement there was a lot of talk around Minnesota that he would join the Minnesota Vikings.

The Minnesota Vikings staff has met with Brett Farve a number of different times to see if his shoulder would allow him to play.

In an announcement sent to Minnesota head coach Brad Childress via text message Brett Farve confirmed that he will stay retired.
