NBA SUMMER LEAGUE A CHANCE FOR PLAYERS TO SHOW THEIR STUFF

The NBA puts on a summer league for the NBA. It is a chance to have newly players to get a chance to meet one another.

It also gives fans a chance to see what type of team they are going to have in the upcoming year. I think that these leagues are a good idea to have because I think it’s good for the league to have summer action to fill the gap between the off season closed work outs and the opening of the regular season.

The NBA coaches have a chance to get to see what their needs are right now, even though that the players coach them self’s. Teams are rebuilding after players are coming and going because of end of the season trades. Some of the veterans don’t go to the summer leagues and they give the younger players a chance to play. NBA teams can stack their rosters because the number of guys you can have on rosters for the summer league is expanded. Players don’t have to be on their regular rosters to play on the summer league.

We will have to see how teams pan out in the summer league to try to gauge how they might look at the beginning of the season when training camp opens.
