B2X WENT UP AGAINST ERROL CARLSTROM PLAYAZ

In semi final action it was B2X going up against the Errol Carlstrom Playaz. The game started out with each of the teams knocking down from the beginning.

Rodney Williams was able to find his shot early on in the game. He was able to knock down some nice mid range jump shots in the beginning of the game.

The game was close throughout the first quarter. At the end of the first quarter the score was B2X 24 and Errol Carlstrom Playaz 31.

Issaac Roosevelt for the Playaz opened the second quarter with a deep three point shot. He played hard on both ends of the court. Devoe Joseph also found his shot in the second quarter he was able to knock down some quick shots.

Issaac Roosevelt came up with a couple of nice plays around the basket in the game. If he was anywhere around the basket he would go up and tip the ball in or use a power drop step to a dunk.

At half time the score Errol Carlstrom Playaz 66 and B2X 41.

In the third quarter the Errol Carlstrom Playaz were able to get the ball out and run with it. They really looked to run the fast break. B2X had a difficult time defending because they were so tired. They just couldn’t keep up the Playaz.

B2X kept plugging away throughout the third quarter. Even though they were down they still played hard. Rodney Williams put on a show through the second half as he kept the crowed excited by his fabulous slam dunks.

At the end of the third quarter the Errol Carlstrom Playaz 98 and B2X 71.

Throughout the fourth quarter both of these teams kept up the battle. Both teams fought hard till the end of the game.

I really thought that both teams played together well as a team. The Errol Carlstrom Playas came away with the 125-97 victory.

With this victory the Errol Carlstrom Playaz will take on the El-Amin Fish House at 7:15 on Thursday for the Championship at the Salvation Army at 401 west 7th Street in St Paul Minnesota.
