In the other quarterfinal it was Apple Valley against Blaine. Apple Valley came into the game with a 21-0-0 record and Blaine had a record of 13-7-1. Both teams came out showing a lot of enthusiasm as they both came out cheering.
Apple Valley got on the board in the early goings of the game as Stephen Johnson scored a goal. That was followed up by another goal but this time it was Tom Obarski.
Apple Valley’s Bijan Jabari scored a goal making the score Apple Valley 3 and Blaine 0.
Apple Valley continued to attack the goal coming close to making shots throughout the first half.
Blaine didn’t give up at all in the first half. They kept battling back and they were making some nice shots on Apple Valley’s goals but they were not going in.
At the half the score was Apple Valley 3 and Blaine 0.
Just as the second half got underway Apple Valley Tom Obarski scored a quick goal. Then a minute later he scored another goal making the score Apple Valley 5 and Blaine 0.
Apple Valley’s Simon Goettl scored a goal midway through the second half. With that score the score became Apple Valley 6 and Blaine 0.
Apple Valley played with a lot of emotion and pride. They looked like they were really out there having fun and they were really playing hard the whole game. Blaine didn’t give up.
Apple Valley’s Dane Grundstrom scored a goal in the second half. With that goal Apple Valley lead by the score of 7-0.
Apple Valley’s Alex Schams scored a goal in the second half to make the score Apple Valley 8 and Blaine 0.
