According to the Big Ten Conference University of Minnesota forward Blake Hoffarber has been named the Big Ten Player of the Week for the week of December 21st 2009.
Hoffarber earned the award after his career high of 26 points and scoring eight three-point shots. The last player from Minnesota to win the Big Ten Player of the Week was Dan Coleman back on December 24th 2007.
