HOPKINS LOOKS SHARP AGAINST TARTAN IN THE MINNESOTA BREAKDOWN TIP OFF CLASSIC

Tartan took on Hopkins in the 2009 Minnesota Breakdown Tip Off Classic. Hopkins came in the defending Minnesota State high school champions.

Tartan was able to make some shots from the beginning of the game. Both teams looked to push the ball up the court. Hopkins is known to be a run and gun type of team.

Both of these teams really played strong in the first half. Tartan was playing aggressively throughout the first half.

Both of these teams really went after each other in the first half.

Hopkins was able to pull away a little bit at the beginning of the second half. Tartan did all they could to try to slow Hopkins down but they were not able to do that.

Hopkins was able to go on a run and they were able to pull away and come away with the victory. Tartan didn’t give up and they did play hard but in the end Hopkins was able to pull away from Tartan with the 81-66 victory.
