CANDICE WIGGINS IS OUT FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON

Minnesota Lynx guard Candice Wiggins will miss the remainder of the 2010 season after rupturing her Achilles tendon in her left leg in Tuesday night's contest vs. the New York Liberty. The injury occurred with 8.0 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. An MRI done Wednesday confirmed the injury. Wiggins will have surgery Friday June 24th. In eight games this season, Wiggins averaged 13.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 29.8 minutes per game.
