Henry looked to push the ball down the floor and make baskets in transition. Waconia however kept pace with Henry as they also were able to make fast break layups.
There were many ties and lead changes throughout the first half. Neither team went on a run in the first half.
At halftime the score was Henry 20, Waconia 18.
As the second half got underway Henry continued to hit deep three-point baskets. Waconia was not able to slow Henry down on defense.
Henry continued to make their shots. On the defensive end they were able to frustrate Waconia.
Waconia continued to look to the basket as they were able to cut into the deficit
Henry called a timeout with 4:04 left in the game. The score was Henry 45, Waconia 42.
The score went back and forth late in the contest.
Henry came away with the 49-48 victory over Waconia.
