Caledonia went up against Hopkins in a boys' basketball game. Hopkins pushed the ball down the floor and looked to score basket in transition.

Caledonia’s Owen King came up with huge mid-range jump shots and layups. His teammates knew where he could shoot it and were able to get him the ball in spots where he could shoot it.

The defensive pressure that Caledonia applied made it difficult for Hopkins to get open looks at the basket.

Caledonia was able to get everyone involved in the offense by passing the ball around the 3-point line. King did a good job of calling for the ball and his teammates knew where he was on the floor.
Both teams went after loose balls and rebounds. It was a very physical game.
Hopkins came up with steals and was able to layups and 3-point shots. They were able to slow Caledonia down on the offensive end.
At halftime the score was Hopkins 52, Caledonia 31.
As the second half got underway Caledonia looked to get the ball into the hands of Colton Lampert and Gavin Schroeder.
Caledonia struggled to shoot the ball in the second half. They were not able to hit shots that they put up.
Hopkins Ishmael El Amin and Simon Wright both came up with mid-range jump shots and layups throughout the game. They knew where each other were on the floor and were able to make shots.
Hopkins looked to keep pushing the ball down the floor and score baskets in transition.
Hopkins came away with the 105-73 victory over Caledonia.
The leading scorers for Caledonia were Colton Lampert with 21 points and Schroeder with 15 points.
The leading scorers for Hopkins were El-Amin with 21 points, Wright with 18 points, Shahid with 17 points and Johnson with 11 points.
