A & A MILLWORK TOOK ON ERROL CARLSTROM PLAYAZ

A & A Millwork took on the Errol Carlstrom Playaz. The game got off to a quick start as each team was able to score in quick fashion.


Minnesota Gopher Al King Nolen Jr came to play. He did a good job running an offense. He got his team in to the offense that he wanted them in.


Colton Iverson was all over the court playing good aggressive defense. He played with his hand up in the air and he knew where his teammates were.


Both teams traded baskets in the second quarter. Johnny Gilbert was able to get the ball to his guards. Johnny has a nice power drop step that he used frequently.


There were a lot of fast breaks in the first half. The defense was there but both teams pushed the ball up the court.


J’Son Stamper had a nice game he was able to step up and make shots. He was able to hit shots from around the top of the key.


This game was close throughout the first half. At the half time break the score was A & A Millwork 48 and Errol Carlstrom Playaz 52.


As the second half got underway each team came out fired up and played aggressively. J’Son Stamper played well. He looked like he knew what he was doing when he was on the court. Both teams grinded it out in the third quarter. Al King Nolen Jr looked sharp throughout the whole game. He continued to show poise with the ball. He played good defense. He was able to stop his defenders.


At the end of the third quarter the score A & A Millwork 68 and Errol Carlstrom Playaz 81.


As the fourth quarter got underway both teams looked scrappy and they knew that they didn’t give up. Al Nolen kept running the show in the fourth quarter. A & A Millwork went on a run in the fourth quarter they were able to time the lead.


The game was a very close and tight in the end A & A Millwork came away with the 96-95 victory.

Johnny Gilbert lead A & A Millwork with 21 points. He was just a work horse in the game. He played very well. Jison Samper scored 8 points. Al Nolan scored 12 points for A & A Millwork.


For the Errol Carlstrom Playyaz Luke Anderson scored 20 points and Devoe Joseph scored 17 points.
