In the first game of the championship league series, Troy Bell who is playing for Vanoli Soresina scored a team high 30 points.
Rodolfo Valenti nailed a three-pointer late in the extra period to give Vanoli Soresina a decisive lead and they converted it into the opening win over Banco di Sardegna in the LegaDue Final. Quadre Lollis added 20 points and 6 rebounds in the victory. Trent Whiting responded with game-high 37 points, 6 boards and 2 assists for Banco di Sardegna. Jason Rowe added 26 points in the loss.
The final of the game was 110-103. Game two of the series is on Tuesday.
