Minneapolis Washburn running back Jeff Jones is headed to the University of Minnesota after all. Jones, who on Feb. 2 2013 made a verbal commitment to Minnesota, backed off his verbal commitment when other schools made efforts to recruit him going into his senior season.
Jones choose the University of Minnesota -- keeping his verbal commitment at a press conference -- at Washburn high school on Feb. 5, 2014.
