BRECK WENT UP AGAINST ST. THOMAS ACADEMY IN THE CLASS A STATE BOYS SOCCER SEMIFINALS

Breck and St. Thomas Academy squared off against each other in the state boys soccer semifinals at St. Cloud State University.

 

St. Thomas Academy did a good job of moving the ball down the field and were able to get everyone involved in the offense.

 

The game was very physical. There were collisions as both teams went after the ball.  

 

Both teams had chances to score throughout the first half.

 

Breck’s Garrett Opperman scored a goal with 7:10 left in the first half.

 

With 7:10 left in the first half the score was Breck 1, St. Thomas Academy 0.

 

Breck continued to move the ball down the field. Both teams played tough throughout the first half.

 

At halftime the score was Breck 1, St. Thomas Academy 0.

 

As the second half got underway both teams continued to move the ball well down the field.

 

St. Thomas continued to move the ball down the field where they looked to get good shots on goal.

 

Breck looked a little quicker than St. Thomas Academy.

 

Breck's Avi Eller came up with a goal 2:47 left in regulation.

 

In a hard fought game Breck came away with the 1-0 victory over St. Thomas Academy.
