ST. CLOUD TECH WENT UP AGAINST EAST RIDGE IN THE STATE BOYS SOCCER CLASS AA SEMIFINALS

St. Cloud Tech squared off against East Ridge in the state boys soccer tournament. As the game got underway East Ridge moved the ball down the field well. They were able to get everyone involved in the offense.

 

The ball moved freely down the field.

 

St. Cloud Tech did a good job of attacking the goal. They knew where they were supposed to be on the field and they did a good job of communicating.

 

East Ridge’s Ashwin Kolla scored a goal with 8:53 left in the first half. Jarrod Ronquillo got the assist.

 

With 8:53 the score was East Ridge 1, St. Cloud Tech 0.

 

East Ridge’s Grant Tostenrud scored a goal with 6:23 left in the first half.

 

With that goal that made the score East Ridge 2, St. Cloud Tech 0. That was the score at halftime.

 

As the second half got underway East Ridge continued to move the ball down the field

 

East Ridge was a little quicker than St. Cloud Tech.

 

The game got chippy late.

 

East Ridge came away with the 2-0 victory over St. Cloud Tech.
