On Nov. 2, Eden Prairie and Lakeville North squared off against each other in the Minnesota State High School League semifinals of the state tournament.
Both teams did a good job of moving the ball down the field and getting everyone involved in the plays.
Neither team was able to find the goal in the first half.
At halftime the score was tied at 0.
As the second half got underway both teams continued to move the ball well down the field.
Both teams were very active on the field. They both went for the ball and attacked the goal.
After regulation time was over the score was tied at 0. The game went into overtime. There were two 10 minute overtime periods. The first team that scores a goal wins.
Neither team scored a goal in the first overtime period. There was another 10 minute overtime period.
Neither team scored in the overtime period. The game went into a penalty kicks.
Eden Prairie won the game on penalty kicks. The final of the game was 1-0.
