Breck High School traveled to Holy Angels for a boys' basketball game. Breck came into the game with a record of 4-7. Holy Angels had a record of 6-5.
Holy Angels came out in a full court man-to-man defense. They wanted to put as much pressure on Breck as they could.
Breck looked to push the ball in transition. Holy Angels also looked to get the ball out of the net quickly and push the ball down the court.
Breck's William Culliton went down as he was fouled hard. He was attended to by the Holy Angels trainer.
Holy Angels put together a nice string of baskets. Breck had a hard time finding their shots to start the game.
Holy Angels had a 15-4 lead with 13:59 minutes left in the first half when Breck called a timeout.
Holy Angels was able to frustrate Breck when they used the full-court press. They were able to take Breck out of their offensive rhythm.
Holy Angels made nice baskets in transition. Sam Keis brought the ball down the court and was able to get his teammates involved in the offense.
Breck's Tilyn Hollis knocked down some big three-point shots for his team. His teammates knew where he was on the floor and he called for the ball and knock down shots.
Holy Angels did a good job of rebounding on both ends of the court. Both teams went after loose balls.
At halftime the score was Holy Angels 37 and Breck 18.
Holy Angels came out on fire. They were able to hit every shot that they put up in the first three minutes of the game.
Holy Angles kept on looking to get Keis the ball. Keis continued to shoot it.
Breck had trouble finding the basket. Everyone played hard but they just couldn't get their shots to fall.
Holy Angels came away with the 75-42 victory over Breck.
The leading scorers for Breck were Tilyn Hollis with 19 points and Mohammed Lawal with 10 points.
The leading scorers for Holy Angels were Sam Keis with 25 points, Danny Sullivan with 14 points, and Jordan Dembley with 9 points.
