Minnetonka did a good job of attacking the basket and was able to make their layups.
Breck played mostly a zone defense in the first half. They wanted to make Minnetonka have to shoot the ball from behind the three-point line.
Minnetonka picked off long cross court passes as they were able to make layups off the turnovers.
Minnetonka’s Amar Miller was all over the floor. Miller was able to get past his defenders and get to the basket. He was also able to make mid-range jump shots and layups throughout the first half.
At halftime the score was Minnetonka 33, Breck 17.
Minnetonka continued to hit baskets with ease throughout the second half. Breck was not able to slow Minnetonka down.
Minnetonka set good screens and talked on the offensive end.
Breck looked to drive to the basket and take layups but they were misfiring on their shots.
In a game that the score was never close Minnetonka came away with the 85-43 victory over Breck.
