EDINA WENT UP AGAINST BRECK IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

Breck and Edina squared off in a basketball game. Edina looked to set the tempo of the game from the tip. They looked to swing the ball around the three-point line as they wanted to get everyone involved in the offense.

Edina was able to get fast-break chances and they were able to hit open layups.

Breck had a hard time scoring early in the first half. They had multiple turnovers that lead to Edina baskets.

Breck called a timeout with 12:47 left in the first half. The score was Edina 15, Breck 2.

Edina did a good job of getting everyone involved in the offense. They talked to each other as they swung the ball around the three-point line.

Breck took shots that they thought that they could make, but they had a difficult time getting into a shooting rhythm.

Edina continued to get easy looks at the basket as they were able to take advantage of their scoring chances.

Edina called a timeout with 4:51 left in the first half. The score was Edina 25, Breck 9.

Both teams continued to push the ball down the floor as they looked for open shots.

At halftime the score was Edina 35, Breck 16.

As the second half got underway Edina continued to push the floor and looked to make their mid-range jump shots and layups.

Breck struggled to shoot the ball throughout the second half. Their shots were not falling.

In a game that was lopsided from the start, Edina came away with the 70-36 victory over Breck.
