Mahtomedi did a good job of getting the ball down the field. DeLaSalle did a good job of getting the ball down the field as they were able to get everyone involved in the offense.
Both teams played hard throughout the first half but neither team was able to score.
At halftime the score was tied at 0.
As the second half got underway both teams continued to get the ball field.
The ball mostly stayed in the middle of the field throughout the game.
The defensive players for both teams were stronger than the offense. That made for a defensive
battle.
At the end of regulation the score was tied at 0.
DeLaSalle's Eli Baker scored on a penalty kick 14.9 seconds left in the first overtime period.
