BENILDE ST. MARGARET’S TOOK ON OSSEO IN THE MINNETONKA BASKETBALL FALL LEAGUE

Benilde St. Margaret’s took on Osseo in the Minnetonka Basketball Fall League. Both teams look to push the ball up the court to begin the game. Benilde looked to push the ball early in the contest.


Osseo went on a run early in the contest. Osseo was able to find the basket early on. Jerrod Berven did a good job of getting to the basket for Osseo. The players did a good job of getting the ball into his hands.



Benilde St. Margaret’s used a good man-to-man defense throughout the first half. They were able to slow Osseo down. Osseo was able to go on a run midway through the first half.



The game went back and forth throughout the first half.

At halftime the score was Osseo 28 and Benilde St. Margaret’s 25.


As the second half got underway both teams stepped up the intensity. They both looked to play with a lot of emotion and energy.


Both teams were able to go after each other. The defensive pressure that each teams played was very good.


Benilde didn’t give up. They played with a lot of intensity. Osseo was a little bit quicker then Benilde through a majority of the contest.


The game was close throughout the game. Neither team was able to go on a run during the game.


Both teams battled throughout. The game came down to the wire. In the end Osseo was able to come away with the 64-63 victory over Benilde St. Margaret’s.



I thought that Jerrod Berven did a good job throughout the game. He did a good job of sharing the basketball. Jerrod was also not afraid to shoot the ball if he thought that he had a good shot.
