Lausanne and Apple Valley squared off in a boys' basketball game at the Target Center.
Apple Valley moved the ball down the floor well as they got everyone involved in the offense.
Lausanne’s Isaiah Stokes made mid-range jump shots and layups in the first half. His teammates did a good job of getting him shots he could make them.
Apple Valley called a timeout with 9:19 left in the first half. The score was Apple Valley 16, Lausanne 11.
Lausanne set a slow tempo of the game. They passed the ball around the 3-point line and took a lot of time off the clock.
Lausanne was able to get Apple Valley out of a shooting rhythm.
Apple Valley’s Tre Jones was able to get to the basket and made 3-point baskets and layups. Jones knew where his teammates were on the floor and was able to get him the ball where he could make shots.
Lausanne called a timeout with 3:47 left in the first half. The score was Apple Valley 30, Lausanne 15.
Apple Valley’s defensive pressure caused difficulties for Lausanne as they were not able to hit shots late in the first half.
At halftime the score was Apple Valley 34, Lausanne 22.
As the second half got underway Apple Valley continued to get the ball down the floor and make layups in transition.
Lausanne had a difficult time scoring in the second half.
Apple Valley was too much for Lausanne. Apple Valley was all over the floor.
Apple Valley came away with the 79-46 victory over Lausanne.
