Osseo traveled to Coon Rapids for a boys' basketball game. Coon Rapids came into the game with a record of 2-0. This was Osseo's first game of the season.
Osseo got out and scored the first points of the game.

Osseo looked to set the tempo from the beginning of the game.
Osseo guard Benji Sabah did a good job of setting the tempo. Sabah was quicker than his opponent and was able to use that to his advantage as he was able to just blow by his defenders. Sabah didn't have any problems getting the ball to the basket. If he was in trouble he knew where his teammates were and was able to kick it to them for the assist.
It took a while for Coon Rapids to get their shots to fall. They looked to get everyone involved in the offense.
Coon Rapids went on a run and where able to get a one point lead on an Omot Okwan shot.
Osseo's Bridgeport Tusler was able to hit some jump shots around the corner.
The score went back and forth toward the middle of the first half. Both teams traded baskets.
Osseo called a timeout with 5:49 left in the first half. The score was Coon Rapids 20 and Osseo 19.
Osseo's Michael Brush was able to step up and knock down some deep three-point shots.

Both teams traded baskets late in the first half. Players from both teams dove on the ground for loose balls and went after loose balls.
At halftime the score was Osseo 33 and Coon Rapids 30.
Both teams came out and traded baskets to start the second half.
Coon Rapids called a timeout with 13:18 left in regulation. The score was Osseo 39 and Coon Rapids 36.
Ian Theisen got the ball on the low block and he was able to get to the basket. He is listed at 6-9. Theisen was also able to get a few rebounds that came his way.
Osseo went on a little run midway the second half. Coon Rapids didn't back down.
Coon Rapids called a timeout with 8:54 left in regulation. The score was Osseo 50 and Coon Rapids 38.
Coon Rapids didn't back down. They kept of fighting. Coon Rapids didn't back down throughout the game.
Osseo came away with the 69-55 victory over Coon Rapids. The leading scorers for Osseo was Michael Brush with 16 points. The leading scorers for Coon Rapids were Omot Okuan with 12 points, Joe Churilla and EdVon Hibler with 11 points and EdDarie Hibler with 10 points.
