IN A 16U BASKETBALL GAME THE MINNESOTA HEAT TOOK ON THE HOWARD PULLEY PANTHERS

The Minnesota Heat took on the Howard Pulley Panthers in a 16u division basketball game. The game got out to a quick start as each team raced out and tried scoring lay-ups.

The Heat started off playing man-to-man defense. From the start the Pulley was a little quicker then the Heat.

The score was close throughout the first half as neither team went on a run.

The Minnesota Heat tried to stay up with Pulley in the first half. It was a competitive first half as each team battled.

The game was close throughout the first half. Neither team got more than a 10 point lead.

At halftime the score was Howard Pulley 29 and Minnesota Heat 25.

As the second half got underway it was just as competitive as the first half. Both teams played tight man-to-man defense and didn't give up any easy baskets.

The score went back and forth as there were many ties and lead changes in the second half.

The game was close both teams played very hard as neither team gave up easy baskets. They were both into the game mentally and physically.

Both teams were able to drain the long ball. They knew where they were shooting it from and they made it into a three-point shooting contest.

Pulley was too much for the Heat to handle, in the end Pulley came away with the hard fought 67-56 victory over the Heat.
