THE OSA CRUSADERS SMITH TOOK ON THE IOWA CORNSHARKS IN A 16U BASKETBALL GAME

The OSA Crusaders went up against the Iowa Cronsharks in a basketball game. The game got off to a quick start as each team raced up and down the floor trading baskets.

Both teams looked to get into an offensive rhythm early in the contest. The Cornsharks started off in a zone defense as they wanted to spread the Crusaders out on the offensive end.

The Cornsharks looked to get the ball into the hands of guard Tyus Riley. Riley was all over the floor. He did a good job of getting his team set up on the offensive end.

The score went back and forth throughout the first half. Neither team put up many shots as the defensive pressure was intense.

Both teams went after rebounds on both ends of the floor. There were many tie-ups in the paint area as each team went after rebounds.

The Cornsharks were not afraid to shoot the ball from anywhere on the floor. Riley did a good job of setting the tempo for his team. He dribbled the ball just outside of the three-point line while his teammates set up the play that he called.

Terrance Bush for the Sharks did a good job of bringing the ball down the court for his team. He and Riley shared the point guard possessions as they each took a spot running the point guard spot.

The Crusaders battled to get shots up .They kept on looking to get the big men involved in the offense.

Terrence Bush of the Cornsharks did a good job of getting everyone involved in the offense. They ran a pass and cut offense so everyone was moving on the offensive end. This enabled everyone to get involved on the offensive end.

The game remained close throughout the first half. At halftime the score was Iowa Cornsharks 32 and the OSA Crusaders 27.

As the second half got underway both teams continued to keep pace with each other. Neither team went on a run in the opening minutes of the half.

Both teams seemed to trade baskets throughout a good portion of the first half. It was a very competitive game. Both teams gave it everything that they had on both ends of the floor.

The Cornsharks went to a zone defense in the second half. They looked to spread the Crusaders out and force them to make long jump shots.

Both teams played very well and played with a scene of urgency. It was a hard fought game by both teams as neither team gave up easy baskets throughout the course of the game.

The coaches did a good job of managing the game. The players for both teams seemed to be relaxed and under control when they were on the court. 

The Cornsharks did a good job of moving the ball. They didn't stand around on the offensive end. They set good picks and made good cuts away from the ball.

The Iowa Cornsharks came away with the 60-47 victory over OSA Crusaders.
