Team USA won the 17U division to win
the 17U championship. Minnesota native Tyus Robert Jones scored 2
points in the championship game as the USA came away with the 95-62
victory over Australia.
Jones played 25:40 in the game. Jones
shot 1-5 from the field that including going 0-2 from behind the
three-point line. He brought down 4 defensive rebounds, Jones had 6
assists and 6 turnovers and he didn't commit a personal foul.
Through 8 games Jones averaged 8.5
points per game.
