The game didn't seem to get into a flow in the first half. Neither team was able to hit shots and the defense was suspect from the start. The players were just out of sync.
Lacross YMCA-Simpson kept on attacking the basket as they wanted to cut into the deficit.
Chance Miller for All Iowa Attack made some good moves around the basket. He knew where his teammates were on offense and he was able to get them the ball in spots that they knew they could hit shots.
All Iowa Attack did a good job of getting everyone involved in the offense. They swung the ball around the three-point line to take time off of the clock and they didn't rush their shots.
In the first half neither team went on a run, yet it was it was a very competitive first half. Both coaches did a good job of instructing their teams on what they wanted ran on offense and what they wanted to run on the defensive end. The players responded well to the coaches commands.
At halftime the score was All Iowa Attack Moore 32 and Lacrosse YMCA-Simpson 21.
All Iowa Attack Moore continued to attack the basket. They had multiple players bring the ball down the court.
YMCA-Simpson was a step slow trying to guard All Iowa Attack. All Iowa Attack was a little quicker on both ends of the floor.
YMCA-Simpson went to a full court press as they looked for steals and wanted to create havoc for All Iowa Attack on the offensive end.
YMCA-Simpson couldn't get into a scoring grove in the game. All Iowa Attack took advantage of that and attacked the basket whenever they could.
In a game that was out of hand early All Iowa Attack came away with the 62-32 victory over YMCA-Simpson.
