According to Charley Walters of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, “Apple
Valley incoming junior point guard Tyus Jones had three
assists and two points for the USA Basketball U17 team in its
opening-game 89-67 victory over Australia at the FIBA U17 World
Championship in Kaunas, Lithuania. Jones then scored 10 points with
three assists in a 95-57 victory over the Czech Republic on
Saturday.”
