The Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League have fired head coach Bruce Boudreau. The Wild also announced that assistant coach Dean Evason will be named head coach on an interim basis.
Boudreau started coaching in Minnesota during the 2016-2017 season, and had coached the Wild to a 27-23-7 record on the season.
