North St. Paul and Orono went up against each other in the Minnetonka fall league. It took a while for each of these teams to get into a shooting rhythm.
The score went back and forth early in the contest. Neither team was able to go on a run.
Both teams played man-to-man defense. Neither team gave up easy shots.
Orono looked to shoot the ball from inside the three-point line. They looked to make layups.
At halftime the score was Orono 18, North St. Paul 16.
As the second half got underway both teams continued to swing the ball around the three-point line to get into an offensive rhythm.
The defense each team played was very good. Neither team shot a ton of shots but when they did they had a hand in their face.
There were many ties and lead changes throughout the game.
Both teams played hard throughout the contest. I thought that both teams played very well on the defensive end.
The game came down to the wire. In the end however Orono came away with the 48-38 victory.
