UNIVERSITY OF SIOUX FALLS TOOK ON CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY ST. PAUL IN A FOOTBALL GAME

Sioux Falls and Concordia St. Paul went up against each other in a football game.  Both teams entered the game 3-3.
 
Concordia kicked off to Sioux Falls to start the game. Sioux Falls got the ball on their own 23 yard line. Sioux Falls used both a running and passing attack early. They were able to get a first down on their first set of downs. Sioux Falls’ quarterback Carrington Hanna was able to get his teammates involved in the offense as he found his receivers. Hanna found Josh Angulo for a 37-yard touchdown reception. The extra point attempt was good.
 
With 13:28 left in the first quarter the score was Sioux Falls 7, Concordia 0.
 
Sioux Falls kicked off after the touchdown. Concordia got the ball on their own 19 yard line. Jared Russio fumbled the ball on the first offensive play and Sioux Falls came up with it.
 
In the turnover Sioux Falls got the ball on the 10 yard line. Erik Albeck ran it in for a 10 yard touchdown rush. The extra-point attempt was good.
 
With 12:56 left in the first quarter the score was Sioux Falls 14, Concordia 0.
 
Sioux Falls kicked off after the touchdown. Concordia got the ball on their own 15 yard line. Russo found Gabe Boyce on a 19-yard reception. That put the ball on the 39 yard line.  Concordia looked to get the ball into the hands of Ronald Zollicoffer. On fourth-and-11, Concordia elected to punt.
 
Sioux Falls got the ball on their own 16 yard line.  Sioux Falls looked to move the ball down the field. Austin Vanhove came up with a first down reception. Sioux Falls picked up another first down on a Hanna 11yard rush. There was a holding penalty  on Sioux Falls. That made Sioux Falls had to punt the ball on fourth-and-a mile.
 
Concordia got the ball on their own 20 yard line.  Tre Spears looked keep the ball on the ground as Spears picked up three yards. Concordia picked up a first down on a Jermaine Clemon nine-yard reception. On fourth-and-nine, Concordia had to punt the ball. Wes Smith had a huge return for 33 yards but there was face mask penalty on Concordia. Sioux Falls got the ball on the 26 yard line. Concordia intercepted the ball by Hank Goff.
 
Concordia got the on their own 38 yard line. Spears was stopped for a three yard loss. On fourth-and-15, Concordia punted the ball back to Sioux Falls. There was no return.
 
Sioux Falls got the ball on their own 15 yard line.  Matt Young came in as quarterback for Sioux Falls. Sioux Falls wanted to give the starting quarterback a rest. Garcia came up with a rushing first down.  Vanhove came up with a first down reception.  
 
After one quarter the score was Sioux Falls 14, Concordia 0.
 
Sioux Falls kept the ball on the ground on their first drive of the second quarter.  Korban Lawler came in at quarterback. On fourth-and four Sioux Falls punted the ball.
 
Concordia got the ball on their own 10 yard line. The Sioux Falls was able to slow Concordia down on the ground. On fourth-and-10, Concordia punted again.
 
Sioux Falls got the ball on the Concordia 44 yard line.  Hanna came back as the quarterback and found Albeck for a five-yard reception. Hanna found Erik Albeck for a six-yard catch and picked up a first down. Sioux Falls attempted a 29 field goal which was good.
 
The score with 10:14 left in the second quarter was Sioux Falls 17, Concordia 0.
 
Sioux Falls kicked off after the field goal. Zollicoffer picked up 10 yards on the kickoff. Concordia got the ball on their own 18 yard line. The defense stepped up big and was able to stuff the offense.
 
On the fourth-and-five, Concordia punted the ball. Garcia fair caught the ball so there was no return.
 
Sioux Falls got the ball on the Concordia’s 45 yard line. Hanna picked up with a huge 35-yard rushing first down. There was a holding call on Sioux Falls that put the ball on the 19 yard line. Garcia came up with a 19-yard touchdown reception.
 
Hatfield’s extra point attempt was good.
 
With 7:47 left in the second quarter the score was Sioux Falls 24, Concordia 0.
 
Sioux Falls kicked off after the touchdown. Concordia was hit with a delay of game penalty.
 
Concordia had trouble handling the ball as there was a fumble and Concordia recovered it. On fourth-and-10 Concordia had to punt the ball. Hanna didn’t return the punt because he down the ball when he caught it.
 
Sioux Falls got the ball on the Concordia 44 yard line. Garcia got the ball and he lost three yards on the rush. Vanhove picked up an 18-yard reception and a first down.  Josh Angulo came up with a first down reception. Garcia came up with a two-yard touchdown rush. Hatfield’s extra point attempt was good.
 
With 4:16 left in the second quarter the score was Sioux Falls 31, Concordia 0.
 
Sioux Falls kicked off after the touchdown. Boyce came up with a 51-yard kickoff return. Concordia got the ball on the Sioux Falls 44 yard line. Bruce Russell came up with a short yard rush. On fourth-down-and-four Concordia decided to go for it. They were not able to get a first down.
 
Sioux Falls got the ball on their own 38 yard line. Wes Smith came up with a 28 yard first down reception. Vanhove came up with a first down. Sioux Falls attempted a 20 yard field goal which was good.
 
With 12 seconds left to go in the second quarter the score was Sioux Falls 34, Concordia 0.

Zollicoffer picked up 9 yards after the kickoff.
 
At halftime the score was Sioux Falls 34, Concordia 0.
 
Sioux Falls kicked off to Concordia to start the third quarter. Concordia got the ball on their own 42 yard line. Zollicoffer came up with a 43-yard touchdown.
 
Obarski’s extra point attempt was good.
 
With 14:20 left in the third quarter the score was Sioux Falls 34, Concordia 7.
 
Concordia kicked off after the touchdown. Smith came up with a 39 yard return.
 
Sioux Falls got the ball on their 36 yard line.  Hanna came up with a nice 20-yard run. Hanna found Angulo for a first down but there was a facemask penalty on Sioux Falls. Concordia picked up a sack on Sioux Falls. Vanhove came up with a huge reception for a first down. Sioux Falls looked to get into the end zone midway through the third quarter.
 
Concordia got the ball on their own seven yard line. James Peterson came into the game as the quarterback.  Concordia got the ball into the hands of Peterson. Paterson was able to move out of the pocket and pick up a first down. Russell came up with a three yard rush. On fourth-and-three, Concordia looked to punt the ball again.
 
Garcia made a short gain on the punt. Sioux Falls got the ball on their own 30 yard line.
 
Sioux Falls went into a hurry-up offense. They didn’t waste any time waiting for the defense. Hanna passed to Smith for a 5 yard first down catch.  Hanna found Albeck for a 64-yard touchdown reception. Hatfield’s extra point attempt was no good.
 
With 5:30 left to go in the third quarter the score was Sioux Falls 40, Concordia 7.
 
Sioux Falls kicked off after the touchdown.  Concordia got the ball on their own 23 yard line. Russell came up with a nice run. Concordia went for it on fourth-and-one, but they were not able to get the first down.
 
Sioux Falls got the ball back on the Concordia 43 yard line. Albeck came up with a 32-yard reception for a first down. Hanna, Carrington pass complete to Garcia. Nephi for 7 yards to the Concordia 1 yard line.
 
Garcia came up with a one-yard touchdown rush.
 
The extra point attempt was good.
 
With 1:11 left to go in the third quarter the score was Sioux Falls 47, Concordia 7.
 
Sioux Falls kicked off after the touchdown.  Boyce came up with a short kickoff return. Concordia got the ball on their own 20 yard line.
 
After three quarters of play the score was Sioux Falls 47, Concordia 7.
 
Concordia continued to move the ball downfield. Concordia picked up a big reception by Boyce.
 
They were not able to convert on fourth-and-one.
 
Sioux Falls got the ball on their own 46 yard line. They were not able to convert on third down so they punted the ball on fourth-and-four.
 
Sioux Falls came out strong and they were too powerful for Concordia. Sioux Falls came away with the 47-7 victory over Concordia St. Paul.
