CORSICA WENT UP AGAINST ELKTON IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

Corsica and Elkton went up against each other in a boys’ basketball game. Elkton’s Heath Schindler was all over the floor as he came up with mid-range jump shots and layups early.

Corsica’s Cordel Menning came up with layups in the first quarter that kept his team in the game.

Elkton’s Heath Schindler came up with fast break layups. He was also able to get his teammates the ball in spots where they could shoot it. Schindler was also able to hit deep 3-point baskets.

After one quarter of play the score was Elkton 20, Corsica 14.

Corsica had trouble shooting the ball to start the second quarter. They called a timeout with 7:11 left

in the second quarter. The score was Elkton 25, Corsica 14.

Elton came up with mid-range jump shots late in the second quarter.

At halftime the score was Elkton 40, Corsica 25.

As the third quarter got underway Elkton looked to take a lot of time off of the clock. They swung the ball around the 3-point line as they ran set up plays for each other. The Corsica defense had a hard time slowing down the Elkton offense.

Corsica continued to look to shoot the ball even though they had trouble shooting the ball.

The Corsica defense really had a hard time slowing Schindler down on offense. Schindler was able to get past the defense and make mid-range jump shots and layups throughout the game.

After three quarters of play the score was Elkton 49, Corsica 34.

The fourth quarter was more of the same from both teams. Elkton was able to run their offense effectively and was able to slow down the Corsica offense.

Elkton was quicker than Corsica throughout the game.

Schindler was all over the floor as he came up with huge baskets for Elkton.

Elkton came away with the 59-50 victory over Corsica.

The leading scorer for Elkton was Schindler with 35 points.

The leading scorer for Corsica was Clayton Menning with 14 points.
