MINNEAPOLIS NORTH WENT UP AGAINST CHANHASSEN IN A BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME

Minneapolis North and Chanhassen squared off against each other in a boys’ basketball game. North looked to push the ball down the floor and score baskets in transition.

It took a while for each team to feel the other team out.

North looked to score baskets in transition. They were not able to hit shots early.

North called a timeout with 13:52 left in the first half. The score was Chanhassen 8, North 5.

Chanhassen did a good job of getting everyone involved in the offense.

North called a timeout with 10:13 left in the first half. The score was Chanhassen 21, North 9.

North got their shots to drop midway through the first half. They started off sluggish but game around.

North’s Tyler Johnson was all over the floor. On the offensive end he was able to come up with layups.

North struggled on the defense in the first half. They were not able to slow down there guys that they were guarding. Chanhassen was able to get to the basket and make shots that they put up.

At halftime the score at half time was Chanhassen 53 North 25.

As the second half got underway Chanhassen continued push the ball down the floor and score baskets in transition.

Chanhassen called a timeout with 15:11 left in regulation. The score was Chanhassen 53, North 34.  

North went to a full court man-to-man defense as they looked to turn Chanhassen over.

North struggled to shoot the ball throughout the game.

Chanhassen called a timeout with 5:58 left in regulation. The score was Chanhassen 77, North 51.

Chanhassen continued to hit their shots late in regulation. Chanhassen was quicker then North. North struggled to shoot the ball throughout the game.

Chanhassen came away with the 89-72 victory over North.

Scoring for Chanhassen were, J. Witthus 26, M. Hutton 15, Mapes 13, Khwice 8, Weisman 8, Prince 7, M. Witthus 5, Row 4, Mattern 2, Shea 1.

Scoring for North were, Jamile Jackson 18, I. Johnson 16, Tyler Johnson 11, Mathews 9, Hunter 5, Rodgers 4, Smith 4, Wilson 4, Jamire Jackson 1.
